What is the thickness of the cardstock?

The cardstock has a thickness of 85 lb or 230 gsm, making it a sturdy option for a variety of uses. This weight provides a durable feel that is ideal for printing high-quality images, creating professional-looking invitations, or crafting gift tags. It's substantial enough to handle ink and color without bleeding, ensuring your projects look crisp and vibrant.

Can this cardstock be used in a printer?

Yes, this cardstock is designed for use in printers, making it a versatile choice for your printing needs. Whether you are printing invitations, business cards, or artwork, this 8.5” x 11” cardstock will produce sharp, professional-looking results. Always check your printer's specifications to ensure it can handle heavier weights to ensure optimal performance.

What is the best way to cut this cardstock?

To achieve clean cuts on this cardstock, a paper trimmer or a craft knife with a cutting mat is recommended. Scissors can work, but may not provide the precision you need for intricate designs or professional finishes. Using a straight edge ruler along with your cutting tool can also help maintain clean lines, making it perfect for craft projects or custom sizes.

Is this cardstock suitable for drawing?

Absolutely! This royal blue cardstock is great for drawing as its thickness supports various mediums, including pencils, markers, and even some paint types. Artists appreciate the sturdy surface that allows for vibrant color application, making it excellent for sketching, crafting personalized cards, or creating eye-catching art pieces.

What projects can I use this cardstock for?

This cardstock is incredibly versatile and can be used for various projects, such as invitations for special events, custom greeting cards, and engaging gift tags. It's also ideal for creating promotional materials or even fun art projects at schools and workshops. The vibrant blue color adds a unique touch to any creative endeavor.

Is the cardstock acid-free?

Yes, this cardstock is acid-free, which means it won't degrade or yellow over time. This property makes it ideal for archival projects where longevity is crucial, such as scrapbooking or preserving important documents. Using acid-free materials ensures that your creations remain in excellent condition for years to come, making it a smart choice for collectors and crafters alike.

Can this cardstock be used for crafts and scrapbooking?

Definitely! This cardstock is perfect for crafts and scrapbooking due to its sturdy nature and attractive color. It can hold embellishments like stickers or dyed papers without bowing or warping. Whether you're making themed layouts or decorative elements for a scrapbook, the royal blue hue adds a vibrant contrast that enhances any project.

What type of ink works best with this cardstock?

For the best results, it’s advisable to use pigment- or dye-based inks with this cardstock. These types of inks provide vibrant colors and better adherence on the thicker, textured surface. When printing, doing a test print first can help to ensure the anticipated output, especially if using complicated designs with rich colors or gradients.
