Answer: At a temperature of about 23°C, the mould is created in 5 minutes after the impression is taken. For longer application time, the silicone molding paste can be placed in the refrigerator for one hour before mixing. -

Is Siligum flexible or stiff when it dries?
Answer: Depends on ratio of blue to white. Too much blue, stiff, Too much white, soft. Trial and error. -
Question:
Can Siligum be baked?
Answer: My daughter, the user, says that it can be baked. In the context of polymer clay baking, the safe temperature for Pebeo is 275 degrees F. She does not know what would happen if you exceed that temperature. If you want to bake at a higher temperature, pre-vulcanized latex is safer. -
Question:
How long can Siligum remain flexible? I want to make earplugs for side sleep.
Answer: It sets up in about 5 minutes and completely hardens but remains flexible in 10. Not sure it would be very comfortable as an ear plug. I use it to make molds for pottery.
