- Built for Emergency Preparedness. Engineered for Efficiency. The SOF® Tourniquet is a prehospital tourniquet designed for rapid, effective bleeding control. It supports both one-handed and two-handed application, making it suitable for emergency response, professional use, and first aid kits. The reinforced, low-stretch polyester pressure band slides easily over an arm or leg, while the durable buckle allows quick release and reattachment for use in confined spaces. A patented indicator wedge beneath the windlass provides a visual reference to help confirm slack removal during application. The tourniquet features a patented aircraft-grade aluminum windlass rod with a textured grip for controlled tightening. Once applied, the windlass secures into the Tri-Ring Lock™ and Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip™ (TRAC).
