Does it weigh in lbs/oz, Kg/g or just lbs/ .00lbs?
Answer: It can be configured in kilograms or pounds. The book that comes with it states you can use KG or LB but there is no where in the book that tells you how to configure it. Love it and the big tray for holding more. -

Can this unit calculate Kg?

Question:
Shouldn't it light up when being charged? When plug in the charger, the scale doesn't light up at all and I'm worried that it might not be charging.
Answer: The Torrey HS (red, white and blue buttons) display should brighten if the scale is on when the adapter is plugged in and the scale will show the battery in the lower left of the display charging. The older Torreys (green, black and red buttons) display will turn the back light off when not plugged in and when plugged back in will turn on the back light to the display.
