Answer: I had the same problem. I love this eyeliner pencil. I purchased a new pencil sharpener (at Target, brand is e.l.f.), which works much better than the sharpener I was using; however, it is still not perfect. It sometimes waste the tip of the pencil. I wish Urban Decay made a sharpener. If they do I have not found it. -

What color is Mainline?
Answer: It is a dark teal. Definitely color saturated. (Difficult to get a nice thin line, however.) -
Question:
How do I get the pencil to give more eyeshadow once the tip wears down? I cannot find a way to push the pencil tip up.
Answer: Put your pencil into the freezer. When frozen, it is easier to sharpen. If sharpening without freezing, the soft lead can easily break. Not a good thing...especially when it’s so costly!
