  • Question: Is this container rodent proof?

    Answer: It is as it is a Tin/Metal container. Hope that helps!
  • Question: Does the lid have vent holes? One photo shows a solid lid, while another photo shows a lid with holes.

    Answer: The lid does not have vent holes, the vent holes are around the bottom of the container. The potato container is the circumference of about an average dinner plate. I like mine a lot and also purchased the onion, garlic containers. The kids are a little tough to get off at first - I ran a wax candle around and they are easier now.
  • Question: Doesn't this potato bin come with a lid as pictured? I ordered it twice and both times there is no lid included.

    Answer: It takes a genius to miss placing the top in two delivery orders. Maybe they need to have the onion container packet train the potato packer? My first delivery was missing the top, I the bottom. Next delivery, delivery box was in perfect order. The bottom part of container was damaged. This time the kid had a dent and it was impossible to take lid off! Hope this helps

    Answer: Yes, of course. It’s just a container. But don’t store onion and potatoes in the same container. One spoils the other faster.
  • Question: Do you have a garlic tin that matches?

    Answer: Yes, it comes as a Garlic Tin as well as an Onion Tin.
  • Question: Can mice get in them?

    Answer: There are a couple of holes in the front but I’m not sure if they could in through them.
  • Question: Can I get replacement lids?

    Answer: I don't know, sorry.
  • Question: How many pounds of potatoes will it hold?

    Answer: We returned this because, unlike shown in the picture, it is pretty small. Not sure exactly how many pounds, but if you are planning to have may 5 potatoes stored, I think it should hold it. But if you are planning to have it as storage (like we did) it might not serve the purpose.
  • Question: Is this a set of onion, garlic and potato container?

    Answer: No, it’s one container that says potatoes.
  • Question: Will this vented container keep out small insects?

    Answer: If you have an insect problem, these vents won’t keep them out. The containers are great, but not if there are insects.
