How to install?
Answer: The product comes with installation instructions. It's been a while since I installed mine, but basically you remove the screws holding the old ones in and just screw the new ones in. It is easier if you have someone to help you. -

Answer: Yes, this does come with both end brackets. -

Is this part fits on my 2001 Lexus RX300: passenger side and driver side?
Answer: These will fit on a 2001 RX300. They come as a pair and are for the back hatch. -

Is there a right side strut and a left side strut? I need to replace both struts. OEM parts are different part numbers for right and left struts.
Answer: You will need a socket wrench. Remove the 8 bolts that hold the 2 struts in place. Remove and discard the old struts. Install the new (2) struts, and secure with the 8 bolts. Enjoy. -

Answer: They fit my 2000 Lexus RX300 perfectly, and were easy to install. I would suspect they'd fit the 1999 as well as I don't think they changed that area going to the 2000.
