It is rated at MERV 13 standard, and it can filter out bacteria, droplet nuclei (sneeze), cooking oil, most smoke and insecticide dust, most face powder, and most paint pigments. It is easy to fit and maintain, with a recommended replacement every six months or less, depending on usage. Users have reported its effectiveness in keeping out household pollutants, and a perfect fit. However, some have found the filters flimsy, difficult to insert and remove and low-quality. Some customers have also commented on the packaging, saying that the filters are not individually wrapped, making it look cheap.
