Has anyone sharpened the blades on this hedge trimmer? Was it difficult? I would also like to know how long it took the blades to dull.
Answer: The best way to sharpen hedge trimmers and other like equipment is with a Dremel tool with their 453 5/32 grinding tool. Just grind each face of the cutting surface. -

I have the 18 volt black and decker hedge trimmer. Will the 40 volt charger be more powerful or just provide longer battery life?
Answer: More voltage should mean more powerful cutting, but only if the motor is upgraded. The 40V charger does not provide more power. -
