One user had to create a wooden adapter to attach the guard to their 14" bandsaw, as the hardware provided did not fit. However, once attached, they found the guard to be a good addition and felt more comfortable introducing new users to the bandsaw while it was attached. Another user could not get the guard to fit their Delta bandsaw, and another found it to be too large for their desktop unit. The overall Consensus seems to be that the guard is well-built and sturdy, but the built-in light is not reliable and fell apart easily. The u-bolts provided with the guard also did not fit some users' saw set-ups. Despite these issues, most users felt that the guard served its purpose in making their bandsaw safer to use.
