They can work as a replacement nipple for Harris Farms’ water cups, and customers have confirmed that the dimensions of the holes and thread are compatible with them. However, it’s worth noting that these water nipples are only suitable for bottom waterers, not for side-mounting on a bucket or other containers. The product is made in China, which some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with. Regarding winter use, some customers advise using a submersible heating coil in the waterer because it's likely to freeze when the temperature drops below zero. Also, to prevent dripping, some customers recommend using PVC 1/2" tees with a 1/8" FPT hole that screw in and need to be tapped with threads before attaching them to a flat surface.
