Many users have reported that the unit is poorly manufactured with faulty components, causing feedback, static, and fuzz through the video end, even damaging cameras. It appears even if you receive a unit with no issues out of the box, it will not last long as it burns out quickly, leaving you with a heavy smell of electrical burn. Although it has a sleek design, is easy to set up, and may support battery backup, the Ares Vision Power Supply Box does not support high power as advertised. It has provided low voltage right out of the box, and the picture is distorted, making it only capable of running a few cameras. A crucial flaw for commercial quality is that it's not UL listed, a sticker the manufacturer of the product needs to attach on the product after testing it for safety. It is not worth purchasing this product, as the feedback from customers is mostly negative. It is better to look for an alternative power supply box for your CCTV or LED setup that provides the power and support needed without the issues this product presents.
