It is said to be a good investment for those using Sharkbite fittings. The tool performs 25% of the time and is not suitable for copper pipes. However, it is better than using the small plastic tool that comes with Sharkbite fittings. Although it is Considered a two-handed tool, it is easy to use and features good Construction and materials. The tongs tend to slip off the connector and bend easily, making it unsuitable for 3/4" and 1" fittings as they tend to pop off during use. The jaws also bend out when trying to compress the fitting. It is said to have great customer service, responsive to inquiries.
