The Reolink home monitoring system is a great investment for anyone who wants to keep their home and loved ones safe. You can choose to view the screens from other computers or install the free Reolink app on your mobile device to view the cameras from offsite. The system is easy to set up as long as you are comfortable running CAT5 or CAT6 cables which are suitable for this system. The NVR provides power over ethernet to the cameras so that the cameras always have power, especially during power outages. The camera's resolution and clarity are great, and you can see day and night photos from the cameras included in this kit. The motion detection does a great job because of the car/person detection feature, but you can only specify one detection zone per camera rather than several zones with different settings. The NVR is very responsive on the network with minimal delays 0.5 - 1.5 seconds when live streaming over the internet, and the apps work as expected. In addition, the integration into Google, Alexa, SmartThings, and even Home Assistant are impressive.
