Melnor Hose Timers Editorial Review
The Melnor 65136AMZ Mechanical Timer has garnered a mixed but primarily positive reception from customers. Many users appreciate its straightforward design and reliability, with several long-term users reporting that their timers have functioned effectively for years. The simplicity of the mechanical timer is especially appealing to those who prefer to avoid the complexities and potential connectivity issues of Wi-Fi enabled devices. Users have noted that it effectively prevents water wastage by allowing them to set it and forget it, reducing the risk of overfilling outdoor pools or accidentally leaving hoses running. However, some customers have reported inConsistencies in durability, with a few timers breaking or not functioning adequately after a short period of time. There are mentions of leaks from plastic fittings, particularly if they are over-tightened. A recurrent theme in reviews is the importance of correctly adjusting the pressure and manually managing the flow of water when using the timer to ensure optimal performance. Despite some durability concerns, many customers express satisfaction with the product, highlighting that, when functioning well, it offers tremendous value and ease of use. Overall, the Melnor Mechanical Timer is recommended for those looking for a reliable and simple solution for automated watering without the hassle of technology, provided they handle it with care to mitigate any potential leakage issues. **
