Question:
Will birds — I have a cockatiel — actually go inside this?
Answer: Honestly I cannot guarantee that. I say perhaps give it a week or two and then return it if he/she does not go inside. My love birds had a hut before, in addition they were also expecting so the hut was super conventient given their circumstances. -
Question:
Is this machine washable?
Answer: I wouldn’t put it in the washer, but I have washed it with a little soap, water and a brush in the sink and it comes out just like new if allowed to air dry. This way it does not lose it’s shape. I have never submerged it completely in water. -

What is the nasty smell on it right out of the bag?! How can I get rid of the smell?! That is not safe for my bird! ðŸ˜
Answer: You can’t get rid of it, trust me. I had to throw it away after washing it twice and soaking it in vinagre... nothing helped -

Will a white bellied caique fit in the small?
Answer: It might be a little snug, a medium to large would be better, mine is small/medium and I have a love bird. She fits it well. -

Why is the tent with plastic rods now? My bird will destroy that in one minute?
Answer: Mine hasn't tried to tear this one up. He does his other toys, they like to shred. -

I have a ringneck parrot, they have long tails, well its a medium bird but it has a long tail, i guess i should go for the large?
Answer: I have a conure which is a little longer than a cockatiel from head to end of tail feather and he does very well with the size medium that I bought. If your parrot is a little larger than that I would go with a size large. Just make sure your cage is big enough for it so you leave your bird enough room to stretch out. -

Answer: This hut is a tightly woven fabric. -

Answer: The plastic is cover, and non-toxic. It is the best bed for your bird.
