The HeatTech Electric Tile Radiant Floor Heating Mat is installed on top of the concrete floor before laying down the tile floor, so using it inside the concrete would be unreliable. If you are looking to use it outdoors on a covered patio, it is advisable to protect your thermostat controller. The product comes in a continuous circuit, so cutting it would be impossible, but the company produces a wide variety. Feedback from different customers shows that the HeatTech 120V Electric Tile Radiant Floor Heating Mat has worked perfectly, although one user was disappointed because the product size was slightly different from what was described in the product description.
