The 2 Pcs Silicone Car Engine Heater Pad is a self-adhesive pad with a 194°F thermal protector, designed to heat the engine block, battery, or oil pan. It comes with a 68-inch long power cord and is rated at 150W and 120V. The pads are two individual pieces and come with two cords and two 110v 2 prong plugs. The pads are modulated and pulse on and off, trying to hold around 140°F when plugged in. The heater pads can be used for battery pads and can be powered by household AC power. However, a battery of at least 200 watts is required to run it using an inverter. Most customers had a positive experience with the product. Some customers were able to use these heaters for beer refrigerators located in unheated places, while others used them for outdoor equipment such as Canam Outlander 400 and GM engines in the winter season. Customers reported that the engine and battery were warmed up on cold mornings, which increased the efficiency of the engine. Although the product comes with adhesive, some customers reported difficulty in getting the adhesive to stick to their vehicles. Additionally, the heater pads can become excessively hot, which could cause damage to the product or fire hazards.
