This zips up the back and the head is a separate piece. The costume does not have mesh near the mouth, only eyes. Some reviewers found it challenging to breathe inside the headpiece, and sight was limited. The costume exceeded expectations and is of great quality. It was used for children’s church mascot and the kids loved it.
