Invacare Self-Propelled Wheelchairs Editorial Review
The Invacare Tracer SX5 Wheelchair for Adults has received mixed reviews from customers. One user mentioned that the wheelchair arrived quickly, was exactly as advertised, and came already assembled, which was appreciated. However, another user noted that after 14 months of use, the bearings in one wheel were worn out. Additionally, the lower part of the armrests were criticized for being too short and low, making it difficult for the user to stand and transfer effectively. This user felt that other wheelchairs with desk arms did not have this flaw and that it limited their independence. They also found it challenging to roll the wheelchair on even a thin rug and expressed the need to possibly purchase a different chair due to these issues. Overall, the Invacare Tracer SX5 Wheelchair for Adults seems to have some positive aspects such as quick delivery and accurate description, but also some drawbacks like wheel bearing wear and design flaws in the armrests. Individuals Considering this wheelchair should take these factors into account before making a purchase. **
