    Answer: Yes! Just got my DS-740D & this case today. Fits perfectly & so lightweight

    Answer: It fulfilled all my requirements. It is a hardy case that protects my scanner and keeps the cord nearby. I carry my scanner daily and I simply unzip the cover and remove the scanner and cord. I hook it up to my tablet and when finished scanning I place it back in the case an zip it closed.
