It comes in three models with varying flow rates and maximum head heights. The pump can be connected to plumbing that feeds into a bio falls. It also comes with a leaf basket that stands alone in the skimmer. Additional filters or filter bags are not necessary, but filter mats can be added under the basket and over the pump. Unfortunately, the pump's flow cannot be adjusted and a float switch is a separate purchase. Overall, customers have had positive experiences with this pump. It is easy to install and provides a strong flow for water features. Some customers have had issues with defective pumps or missing parts upon delivery, but customer service has been responsive in addressing these issues.
