Hard water is water with a higher concentration of dissolved minerals, such as calcium and magnesium. If you have hard water, soap cannot do its job. The reviewer suggested rinsing with apple cider vinegar (ACV) after the soap to remove any soap left in the hair. The DermaHarmony brand also provides several 2% Pyrithione Zinc Solid Shampoo Bars (five under the Grace of Me brand and another under the DermaHarmony brand) as a substitute to liquid shampoo.
