Question:
Can this be mounted to concrete steps with some sort of anchors?
Answer: Yes, the bracket on the top rear is adjustable and could be mounted to any surface. Mounting to the vertical face of a step is clever, but would there be enough space between the LED surface and the next lower horizontal step. Solar needs to see sunlight once in a while. -
Question:
The motion sensor, at what distance does it detect motion?
Answer: The motion sensor on EL8570 will detect motion between 15-20ft from the light sensor depending on how high the light is mounted and at what angle. -
Question:
I am interested in using this on my rv. if the lithium battery discharges while the rv is in the garage, is there a problem of recharging later?
Answer: No problem at all, just make sure to recharge it as soon as you can so as to not let the battery remain empty for too long. -

Are the batterie(s) user replaceable?
Answer: Unit is a sealed light. Battery not designed to be replaced. This should not be a reason to not buy. We have several lights and find them very well made, easy to install. Like our control options: press & hold button to turn on or off. Tap button to use one of the 3 settings: dark until movement, dim until movement, dim all the time. Most solar LED lights do not have the dark until movement option, so this was why we purchased this light. Answer: The recommended installation height for this particular light for optimal performance of the Motion Sensor would be at about 9 - 12 Feet. -
