CenterPoint Archery AXCCRANK Editorial Review
The CenterPoint AXCCRANK Power Draw Crossbow Cocking Device has garnered a mixed but overall positive reception from users. Many customers have expressed their satisfaction with the device's ease of installation and smooth operation, especially noting its ability to make cocking crossbows hassle-free for individuals with physical limitations. For instance, users recovering from surgery or who are physically shorter have found the cocking device indispensable, as it allows for an effortless draw compared to traditional rope cockers that require more leverage. However, the product is not without its caveats. Several users highlighted the importance of correctly setting up the device, particularly ensuring that the string is wound correctly and avoiding twists in the line to prevent operational issues. Some users faced initial frustrations with the device, including problems related to the string binding during cocking, which were often resolved with minor adjustments. While the AXCCRANK had strong design features—such as a sturdy aluminum Construction and a long crank handle that makes it easier to use—there were also notable complaints about its reliability, with some customers experiencing breakages. Users were advised against using this device on non-Centerpoint crossbows and were warned of potential risks, such as serious injury if the device malfunctions. In summary, the CenterPoint AXCCRANK is an efficient tool for those needing assistance with cocking their bows, provided that it's used correctly and maintained properly. Its strengths lie in its usability for those with limitations, while its weaknesses include potential setup challenges and concerns regarding durability. **
