WIX Racing Filters Spin-On Lube Filter

The WIX Racing Filters Spin-On Lube Filter has garnered attention for its compatibility and performance, particularly among Jeep and Mustang enthusiasts. Users have noted the filter's ease of installation, especially in the Jeep XJ Cherokee where a common issue is the leaking of the 90° filter adapter o-rings. By removing the adapter, customers have found that the WIX filter attaches directly to the engine block, ensuring a snug fit while providing ample clearance from the frame rail. While the filter features a smaller capacity compared to the original, users are advised to maintain regular oil change intervals, which has not been a problem for most. The filter has also received positive remarks from owners of modified vehicles, like those with a Fox body Mustang equipped with an on3 turbo kit, asserting that it performs reliably under demanding conditions. While the product is noted to be genuine WIX, some customers have pointed out minor concerns regarding the packing of the filter, although this does not seem to affect the filter's performance or installation. In summary, the WIX Racing Filters Spin-On Lube Filter appears to be a solid choice for vehicle owners looking for reliability and ease of use. Enthusiasts appreciate its direct fit for specific models and its dependable performance but are reminded about its smaller capacity, necessitating attentive maintenance. **
