They're made in the USA and are very sturdy. They can be used in grow bags or containers, but you'll need to make sure the containers are large enough to keep the plants upright. They're also great for limelight hydrangea trees outside, but if you're using them indoors, you'll need to put them upside down. They could be used for cucumbers and green beans, but pea trellises might be better. You can secure them to the ground with metal earth staples or pegs.
