Answer: I would use this kit for an emergency get home kit. Cables they supply with kit are smaller/thinner than average. When you get to where you are going, I recommend getting a new original replacement. I will say that this kit gives a very nice assortment of lugs that can be used top or bottom side of cable. -

What sizes are the locking barrels?
Answer: I never measured them. What I can tell you there are several of different sizes. I use the thicker cable as a clutch replacement on my Victory King Pin. The large barrel fits in perfectly in the clutch arm below. I have never had one break lose. -

I think I need this, but I'm not sure how it works. Will I be cutting the cable down to length and then attaching the cable end?
Answer: Yes. The cable ends slide onto the cable then clamp down for whatever length you need. -
