The 4oz bottle would be enough for a single coat on an average size solid body electric guitar. The product is resin-based and does not work to protect an outdoor butcher block. While the product has a long shelf life, it needs direct sunlight or a UV bulb to allow it to cure. Additionally, it has an odor that requires a well-ventilated area when using indoors.
