Answer: I purchased this a couple of years ago and just looked at it and it does say "Made in Germany" on it. -

Can you cut up a chicken, through bones?
Answer: No. I use a knife and go between bones and joints. These will definitely not cut chicken bones. -

Why has "country of origin italy" been removed from "product information" since i asked the question 2 days ago?
Answer: I ordered these scissors at the end of December 2022. Mine show made in Germany. The symbol showing 2 figures means they are forged. I ordered a set of forged knives for a Xmas present. the knives show made in Germany but the scissors in the set indicated made in China. the scissors seemed to cut nicely so I ordered just the scissors and made sure they were made in Germany. -

Answer: There seems to be some confusion as to where these are made. I see everyone who responded to this question has said Germany. The true answer is a bit more complicated. First, they were likely made in Germany at some point. However, they are now made in China. What complicates this is the terminology. According to Zwilling, they are made or assembled in China but the parts are from Germany, the country of origin.
