The Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro 5G mmWave WiFi 6E Mobile Hotspot Router MR6550 is a portable option for fast, secure connections up to 8Gbps. It can be connected to an existing Wi-Fi network and has an Ethernet port for LAN. It allows VPN tunneling, access to text messages sent to the SIM card, and IP passthrough. The router acts as a modem solely and allows enable/disable of DHCP service from the router. It also has two radio antenna extender ports. Customers have used it with carriers like T-Mobile, Ting, Mint Mobile, and Onesimcards without any trouble. However, some customers reported Wi-Fi admin panel issues, and the Wi-Fi signal can die for no reason. DNS settings do not work, and every reboot requires a manual turn-on. Packets are dropped every 45 seconds or so.
