REOLINK Surveillance Video Recorders RLN16-410 Editorial Review
Reolink's NVR system can only work with their own brand of cameras and not with cameras from other brands. Also, Wi-Fi cameras from other WAN networks cannot be added to the NVR system. However, it is possible to connect a speaker to the audio out on the NVR and use the app for push-to-talk to come through the speaker, but it does not support two-way audio, according to the FAQ. The box contains the 16CH 8MP NVR RLN16-410, a 48V NVR adaptor, a USB Mouse, 1M Cat5 Cable, 1M HDMI Cable *1, and a Quick Start Guide Brochure. The NVRs when connected to the network can be added to the Reolink client on a PC, and then the user can check the cameras simultaneously in multiple screens mode. The hard drive is compatible with most 3.5" HDD models. The NVR system works well, provides excellent video quality, and is easy to set up. However, the hard drive sometimes may not match its advertised specifications, and the internal fan can be noisy. Also, the company's customer service is slow, and the products can only work with Reolink units.
