Diamond Ceramic Whetstone
The Fallkniven Diamond Ceramic Whetstone Knife is a two-sided sharpening tool with a diamond side for fast sharpening and a ceramic side for honing the edge. It is good for general use knives, but not suitable for chef, carving or boning knives. The product received mixed reviews with some praising its effectiveness and durability while others found problems with the flatness of the surfaces. The diamond plate is very coarse out of the box and takes time to break-in, but the ceramic side is nice. The coarse side has a small roll or hump which can be problematic when sharpening longer blades. However, the product is competitively priced and is a solid and dependable stone if the flatness of the surfaces is checked and warranty replacement is pursued right away if there is a problem.
