Does the left and right cables from my amp plug into the rear?
Answer: No, you only need to use one input jack on the back of the Baby Tremor Subwoofer. From you amp, you will use one output jack to one input jack of the Sub. -
Question:
Can this be used for a bass guitar?
Answer: The Baby Tremor is not designed for use with a bass guitar, however, it can be used with a 4x8 or 2x10 stacked on top of it. If you put a Seismic Audio Richter 15 in this and remove the crossover, it's an awesome bass guitar cabinet. -
Question:
If I connect 2 of these will they then run at 4ohms? Will that change the power handling?
Answer: If you chain two of these passive Baby Tremor together, this will yield a 600W RMS at 4 Ohm load on your amplifier. -
Question:
Can the passive 15' sub be powered with my powered sub?
Answer: The powered outputs on the Baby Tremor are only 125 watts at 8 ohms. That is not enough power to send the same amount of power to your additional sub. It would power the additional sub, but it would probably not be satisfactory. -
Question:
Why does the bass not seem super strong even though I have 2 150w speakers and the 1/4 inch going into both ports in the back?
Answer: Try connecting your source directly into the subwoofer and then out of the subwoofer to your main speakers.
