The gray palette paper is a great choice for artists who want an accurate representation of color. The paper is not absorbent and doesn't allow oils or acrylics to run through the back of the sheet. It has a Consistent gray color to create more accurate colors with the paints you're using. The paint thinner doesn't affect the paper which makes it easy to wipe off the paint and reuse a few times. The size the of the paper is 12" x 16" which fits inside most palettes. However, the paper is too thin which can cause it to easily tear when mixing color on it with a palette knife. Also, the paper curls at the edges when it dampens which defeats the purpose of its use in a sta-wet palette. It never uncurls over time too which can be frustrating.
