The GraphTech PQ-9276-C0 TUSQ Saddle is designed specifically to replace the saddle of a steel string acoustic guitar. Most customers stated the saddle came oversized and required sanding to fit their guitar perfectly. The TUSQ material is easy to work with and hand sanded down to thickness to achieve a snug fit. The saddle does, however, give even cheap acoustics and some mid-range guitars a brighter, clearer and more balanced sound. Some customers shared that the TUSQ saddle gave an almost brittle and high end overtone whereas they preferred bone saddles for a warmer tone, but the hardness of TUSQ does transfer string sound for a louder, brighter sound than plastic.
