    Answer: Loosen the cap on the stem by pressing down on it while turning. Make sure that the other cap is tight. Squeeze container slightly and you will see liquid flow up the tube on the side and into the stem. It might be necessary to loosen the cap on the main container to allow air in to replace the liquid dispensed to the stem.
  • Question: How many ounces should I put in my 07 zx6r? What is the ratio to gas?

    Answer: Friend who owns small engine shop says it won't hurt to add more. Basic rule of thumb he said for me to use it 1 oz per gallon. Overkill yes but you'll never have issues. Better yet buy the highest obtain fuel you can get. In my case I use 93 octane fuel and use 1 oz per gallon. Again, have never had an issue, even with a chainsaw sitting for over 9+ months. Always starts on first/second pull. Do the same for cars that I have let sit in storage. Even at 87 octane. Still do an oz per gallon especially with the ethanol mix (10% here). Make sure to mix and then run engine so Stabil is in the fuel lines all the way up to the engine. It does no good if you just put Stabil in the tank but it is not in the carb or injectors.
  • Question: Will Sta-Bil work in 2012 Honda Accord LX sedan? Which style of Sta-Bil do I need to buy?

    Answer: Sta-Bil isn't vehicle dependent - it will work fine in modern vehicles. But it isn't a fuel treatment. It is a fuel stabilizer that allows you to keep the poor gasoline mix we get these days usable for many months. If you are going to store your 2012 Accord for up to a year (maybe two) this is the stuff to use.
  • Question: Can this be used year round, even while running the mower?

    Answer: Yes, you can certainly use STA-BIL all year-round as it does help in keeping the fuel system clean and the fuel as fresh as possible while in use.
  • Question: Can I use this in a Tao Tao scooter that's in storage for the (Midwest) winter?

    Answer: I used to run small engines (mower, grass trimmer, garden tractor, saw) empty for the winter. Now, I treat all gasoline with Stabil when I purchase it and do not worry about running equipment dry for the winter. Once I started doing this I have had no problems starting them in the spring. I keeps the jets from clogging up while setting over the Midwest winter and should work for any gasoline engine. I do the same for diesel tractors using Stabil for diesels.
  • Question: Can I put Sta-Bil in a 300-gallon tank that is already full of gas? I have no way to agitate it once I add the Sta-Bil?

    Answer: Yes. You can simply add the recommended amount to the fuel. Shaking, mixing, or agitating is not necessary, as STA-BIL Storage will dilute itself into the fuel. Hope that helps.

    Answer: I'm sure it won't hurt anything, especially with a full tank of gas. I would just mix it in the small engine gas, it won't damage anything.
