    Answer: The webbing is made from recycled plastic bottles.

    Answer: Yes, it is equipped with Eco Anti-Odor technology to break down odor in sweat.
  • Question: Where is the leather sourced from?

    Answer: The leather used in the shoe is sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries.
  • Question: Are these wide width? Need a wide width recommendation. Thanks.

    Answer: The SOLR measures about an E width. We do not currently offer wide-specific width sandals.
  • Question: Where are keens made?

    Answer: Many KEEN shoes are built in one of our own KEEN factories in Portland (American Built line only), Mexico, or Thailand. We also partner with factories in Cambodia, Vietnam, China, India, and Europe, working closely with our suppliers to ensure our products are Consciously Created and made to last.
  • Question: Can you wear these in cities without damaging the sandal's solr properties?

    Answer: I have worn them everywhere - I got them for off leash hiking with my dogs but found them so comfortable that I've worn them to work and I walk for 45 minutes on my lunch hour, so yep, they've been on city sidewalks & pavement with no issues. They are excellent (better than any other pair of shoes I have) on wet surfaces - so whether it's rain on a sidewalk or on the trail, they've done great. The soles on them (had to run & check!) have no more or less wear than my other pair of non-SOLR Keen sandles.
  • Question: How much do these weigh? Considering for backpacking. Thanks

    Answer: Very lightweight. I've carried them in my backpack routinely and traveled to Europe with them with limited weight restrictions. I've worn Keens sandals for 11 years and they're terrific.
  • Question: What does it mean when there is no sizes showing like on the Keen womens whisper sandal for 82.79? None available or what

    Answer: If you select a color and the size is greyed out then the color is not available in that size.
  • Question: For narrow feet? as they look wider than the clearwater cnx and whisper sandals which are perfect for my narrow feet?

    Answer: I love these shoes because I have WIDE feet, a high instep and a high arch. I suspect that these keens will feel too loose and floppy if you have fairly narrow feet.
  • Question: What's the traction like on mossy/algae-covered rocks?

    Answer: Works fine for me.
  • Question: Can you wear the Keen shoes IN the water?

    Answer: Yes. They are meant as water sandals--and are great on land, too. Great shoes!
  • Question: Can these sandals hold up well in a chlorine pool doing water aerobics?

    Answer: They're great in freshwater streams and for kayaking on rivers, so I would think they'd be ok in a pool. Don't know about the chlorine part-- you might want to call Keen customer service for that. I will say, they could be heavier when fully submerged, if that has any bearing on doing water aerobics. Keen has a rubber-like clog style that might be better for this.
